Caught off doctors pass on cut piece of bait (small jack)

Found this permit at the "R" tower about 32 miles off Gordon pass almost lost this one under the tower caught on a live crab free lined on 4/0 set-up

My first permit caught in an undisclosed spot on the gulf, one of the best fights I ever had it took about 45min to bring in one of the best tasting fish to eat caught on 4/0 Penn senator rod and reel combo

400+lb Jew fish caught on piece of cut bait thrown off the pier.  Fought about 1-1/4 hours gear used 4/0 Penn senator reel and a star medium class rod caught on my b-day May 16th what a gift
